I still remember the day I decided to start my 90 Days Brand Building Challenge.
At that time, I wasn’t trying to build a brand.
I was trying to test myself.
I wanted to learn everything from scratch. I wanted to see whether I was truly dedicated to the things I claimed I wanted. I needed to know — Could I really stay consistent for 90 days? Or would I give up when it got uncomfortable?
Posting videos daily for 90 days felt almost impossible for me. Consistency had never been easy. But I had one small advantage — I went to work every single day. That meant I could document my daily processes and share my real journey.
Nothing fancy. Nothing filtered. Just real effort.
I Thought I Needed Everything… But I Had Almost Nothing
Before starting, I believed I needed proper equipment.
A laptop.
A microphone.
A tripod stand.
But I didn’t even have enough money to buy a laptop.
I kept delaying the start because I thought I wasn’t ready. Then one day I asked myself — What if I start with whatever I have?
That question changed everything.
I decided to begin with minimal resources. I also wanted to show others that you don’t need big investments to start. You just need courage and commitment.
For the first 8 days, I recorded videos in advance. I was nervous. Overthinking every word. Wondering what people would say.
And then one day, with a fast heartbeat and a lot of fear, I posted my first video.
The Excitement… and Then the Silence
The response to my first video was good. People congratulated me. Some appreciated the effort. That support meant a lot.
For a moment, I felt confident.
But as days passed, the response slowly started decreasing.
After 7–8 days of consistent posting, engagement dropped significantly.
Fewer views.
Fewer likes.
Hardly any comments.
It was discouraging.
I started doubting myself. I began looking for mistakes in my content. Maybe my editing was weak. Maybe my presentation wasn’t strong enough.
So I started researching online. I watched videos about content improvement. My Instagram feed became full of creators giving tips on how to grow.
I got influenced.
I tried adding sound effects.
I experimented with different styles.
I followed trends.
But honestly, nothing made a big difference.
20 Days In… And Then Something Happened
By the time I had completed 19–20 days, I was mentally drained.
No major growth.
No viral videos.
No recognition.
It felt like I was speaking every day… but no one was really listening.
On the 20th day, I posted my reel like I had been doing daily. Nothing felt different. No special editing. No special expectations.
But that night… something happened.
An unexpected incident.
It wasn’t about views.
It wasn’t about followers.
It wasn’t even about social media.
But it shook me.
That one moment forced me to question why I had even started this journey. It changed the way I looked at content creation. It changed the way I looked at myself.
And honestly… I can never forget that night.
What happened on the 20th day became the turning point of my 90 Days Brand Building Challenge.
And in the next blog, I’ll share exactly what that incident was — and how it completely transformed my mindset.
Because that was the day this challenge stopped being about content… and started being about something much bigger.
